During the cold weather seasons we will invariably encounter issues with boilers, below are a few guidelines to follow to try to continue the successful running of your heating system:
1, Do not operate your boiler via the power switch – this can cause significant damage and result in breakdowns.
2, If you wish to alter the timer on your boiler download the handbook online (unless you have a copy) and ensure you are operating the system correctly.
3, Use your thermostat to alter the temperature of your heating where possible, not the thermostatic valves on the radiators.
Our advice would be not to tamper with your boiler at this stage, if the boiler is operating on a timer then do not try to alter the programme unless necessary, If the boiler is working well leave it alone.
